Don´t use any foundation or fence foundation on Main base. Use only pillars for stability. Then build a second base, far enought from Main´s claim, to Lure the purge and use several Foundation on it. Purge is focused on foundations. So, You can leave the purge alone, far from your main base and let it destroy a fistful of T1 foundations, or you can use this second building to thrallfarm the purge. Just choose wisely it´s location.

you need to have all off your base connected with foundations or they will spawn inside sometimes because they cant find a valid spawn point where they can reach a base foundation, and by not having all connected with foundations the game thinks you have two bases giving it a chance to attack either.

I noticed that sometime they spawn inside of your base especially with large bases.

Beautiful base, but only against purges. Very weak in PVP. Thin walls, light accessible from top and side. Few light sources.

Ive recently come back to this game, and i built a castle for me n my mates to live in, and they seem to only spawn on the roof of the castle, idk why

Maybe there is no place for them to come from outside? An empty space where they can spawn.
