In the “Avengers Assemble: Frost Fight” special, Alfheim is basically candy land where Santa Clause (known there as Jolnier) lives with the light elves, as well as the hiding place of a dangerous artifact known as the Casket of Ancient powers guarded by a creature called the Jorokraken. If you want to see it its on Netflix and Disney +, it’s pretty good, I enjoy it

while they are called the 9 realms ied actually say that Asgard and maybe Nidavellir are more classified as space stations, you could also say that Nidavellir is also a dyson sphere it definitely fits the idea. it makes me wonder if both Asgardians and Dwarfs once had homeworlds at one point in time and that it was maybe destroyed or they moved to their new homes, this could mean that there are still Dwarfs and old Asgardians somewhere out in the cosmos yet to be found.

I loved the fact that the movie gave us a proper dwarf instead of a Tolkien dwarf. In early Germanic beliefs the first Dwarf was Austri, he and the others of the first 4 hold up the sky and Eitri is of the same lineage as the first 4. I can't see a Tolkien dwarf holding up much more than an axe.

If you think about it, maybe Hela and Odin were big reasons Thanos didn’t enact his plan. They are beyond powerful. And it didn’t take Thor a long time to kill him in Infinity War, but Thanos knew he could vanquish him with the stones he has and his minions. He also knew Loki was not a threat to him because he was defeated in New York.

Dark Elves and Dwarves are the same thing, they live in Svartalfheim/Nidavellir in Norse lore. The MCU split them apart and made them 2 separate things.

The difference between Asafaith and abrahamitic faiths is that Asafaith is more of a map of different spiritual realms and abrahamitic faiths maybe a story of what happened in them more. So for example a more abrahamitic way to see it would be for example that the dark elves are in war against the Aesirs, while Asabelievers would view the light/dark elves as more flexible and not necessarily behave exactly like angels and demons in christianity, but adaptable to human beings having different interests. So that's a big difference between Asafaith and christianity, because Asafaith have 9 "kingdoms" and not 2 for God and Satan so it's not as opposed as in abrahamitic religions.

Everything can be explained by looking at Yggdrasil which is Omniversal and the Bifrost is connected . The Asgardians control the Yggdrasil. There are other ways to travel to different realms such as using powerful dark magic or warp holes like the one hulk accidentally found when he landed on Sakaar or the ones Loki knew about but they are all connected to the Yggdrasil. The 9 realms are different universes but intermingles with ours. Different planes of our universe but there are completely different universes such as the Multiverse and there's the Quantum Realm but they are all connected to Yggdrasil

It breaks my heart how normal it is for people to say "Óðinn lost his eye in the war with the frost giants". When he sacrificed his eye to have drink out of a wisdom well called Mimir´s well. It´s one thing to cut out your own eye for wisdom and another to lose it in battle because you are a weak warrior who can´t defend your own face. When he literally has a spear in the movies that shoots some beam that destroys all of his enemies 200 to 400 meters away. Yet somehow he was cut by some frost giant in the eye according to the marvel movies.... I repeat, it is extremely sad how these movies have made it so extremely "normal" to say. "He lost his eye while fighting the frost giants". That´s just one of the new "normal" the marvel movies have introduced the modern world to when it comes to Norse Mythology.

I do not remember where, it was not on youtube. Some people were posting about Viking history. Their knowledge of Viking history came from the History channels, tv series "Vikings". They were debating how this and that happened. I have seen the Vikings episodes so I knew what they were saying. I know my Nordic history. I was not a member of the site so I could not laugh at them. I was not going to create an account just to laugh at them. However they were truly debating how Viking history was by citing the tv shows. Maybe you should open google and search for "Thor" and see what you find. In short you will find the Thor movies. You will find the actor who acts Thor like he is "Thor" you will find other Thor movie actors you will find fan sites for Thor, Asgard and other Marvel connected Thor stuff. Then you have endless videos on youtube like this one talking about Yggdrasil the Norse Gods and so much more. Yes, it clearly states "MCU". That does not mean how sad it is how normal it is that these stories have anything to do with the reality. Just one google search and all you find is MCU versions of the Nordic Gods. You can not say there is no connection because you can not have the Nordic Gods in MCU without it being straight from Norse Mythology. I would say "I wonder why you never hear anyone connect MCU Nordic Gods with real Norse Mythology" because before these movies. Only tens of millions, maybe hundreds of millions knew about these Gods. Now billions know about them and all they know is what Marvel teaches them. So when you hear someone talk about these Gods, they will be talking about the Marvel Gods. Because it´s not like you were hearing anyone talking about these Gods before Marvel. This makes sense. I always thought in the MCU Asgard was supposed to protect the whole universe, but it’s only nine worlds. This is most likely why they didn’t step in to help Xandar and other worlds in the MCU

Thor being 1500 years old is also an exaggeration coz the fight between the Asgardians and the Frost Giants was set in 965 A.D when Loki was born and Thor is roughly a year older than Loki making Thor around 1059 years (as of Endgame)
