Matthew & Marisha Travis & Laura Sam & his wife outside this group Liam & his wife outside this group And Ashley & her fiance outside this group As for the first campaign characters relationship it goes like this: Vax and Kelith Percy and Vex and Scanlan and Pike

It’ll be kinda interesting to see how they play this out, seeing as if they do the Briarwoods arc in it’s entirety, we’ll be getting a Vaxleth kiss by the end of the season, and I hope they give plenty of buildup to it cause for newcomers/new critters it might seem out of nowhere (tho tbf Vax kissing Keyleth does come out of nowhere to some of the characters in universe so it might not be entirely a bad thing)

I think it was more "out of nowhere" for the players tbh. None of them really thought about romance in DnD before that, so Liam (and Marisha/Matt ofc) kinda opened that door for them.

I agree. In the stream we got a bit of a heads up what with Liam describing Vax' visions of Keyleth during his death saves, but we didn't really get a cut scene to that in the series. It'll be interesting to see how they hint at it instead.

@@majastenstameyes so far it’s been alright, this scene was nice and after this so far the main stuff has been Vax complimenting her and smiling at her antics, with Keyleth blushing a little. Nothing major but nice so far

100% one of my favourite shows I have ever watched. All of my favourite voice actors, beautiful animation style and artwork.. The music is incredible, not to mention SAM FREAKING REIGAL WITH THE BEST SONGS I HAVE HEARD VIA SCANLAN. Amazing. Thanks to everyone who worked on this beautiful masterpiece, and there's even more to come!!!

I’m really glad all the character dynamics are being planted and enforced early. I didn’t believe why Keyleth and Vax got together as a pair during the campaign. The connection didn’t feel organic and I didn’t see anything that would’ve drawn and held them together, aside from Keyleth being a ray of sunshine Vax needed in his dour outlook, and Keyleth admired Vax’s skills and his determination and willingness to act, but those seem more like ideas the other was drawn to. But the moments they’ve had in the show are cute so far, Vax’s care and praise seems natural, understated in his actions as well as words, as does Keyleth being inspired to act by his own determination, and I can see them working as a pair here, they both seem to have the same goal, working to overcome things so that they can be more heroic, just starting in different but complimentary places. Keyleth is naive and uncertain, Vax is jaded and self-serving, but both want to save lives and protect people.

Vax and Vex are both bi, Keyleth is demisexual (only attracted to someone once she has a strong emotional bond with them), Scanlan is...basically just sexual. "Anything willing" is pretty much his way. Percy, Pike, and Grog are all straight.
