completely agree. "We need to look at genders" ....we did....it's called men...women....contrary to this movement against genders, there is something called biology and it is what it is. Wish thinking something away, doesn't make it magically just be whatever you want it to be.

And what's this lamentation about women having to ride in a bus 15 hours like no male musician ever had to eat shit and play a who-cares gig? I've heard other interviews where she talks about young women getting objectified. How much of that's society and how much is biology? Guess what, Shirley? Guys look at young women differently than older ones the same way young women look at older men differently than younger ones. Both situations can suck, but it's just reality. I didn't hear you complain about it when your hemlines were shorter. I'll love ya' forever, Ms. Manson, but lose the myopia.

PurpleSfinx No, it’s obvious she does not for speaking. I listen on an accurate, big speaker sound system and I can hear the artifacts. I’ve been doing professional recording production since 1980 and some mikes are more resistant to wind noise and breath-popping than others. That ball dynamic mike is not. Also, smart performers don’t want to be obscured by a microphone, especially when they are being televised.

a.rnold No, I don’t think a commenter’s click on "Like" on their own posts is counted (I did not and I never have) and I have offered constructive criticism and directed many performing artists to look their best before recording them. I like both of the interviewed performers and I want them to continue to succeed.
