I agree, Roli might have hit a home run with this. One other feature I like is that it's low profile, perfect for those of us who want to mount a slide out keyboard under our desk.

@@Doty6String I'm amazed no one has designed a midi keyboard for specifically mounting under a desk to pull out. What keyboard player wouldn't love to have a controller at their fingers tips when at a desk, especially with all the amazing VST synths available now.

@@Doty6String The Doepfer is nice, but it's almost 5 inches in height, if I'm mounting a keyboard under my desk, I want a low profile like 2.5 inches in height (appears the Roli is close to that) so it keeps the desk from having too big of an obstruction for my legs to fit comfortably underneath.

You have the price wrong. 399 is the heavily discounted introductory price. Going to be 599 with the end of January. ROLI does reduced prices often, but don’t expect as low as 399 anytime soon again.

There was a discount code you could sign up for that would make it $349 for the first 3 days. After that it’s $399. At the time of recoding I hadn’t seen there would be a price jump to $599. Even more reason to get one asap!

@@bluesirensmusic That’s right. I’ve got that extra €50 reduction and used it. But they certainly don’t hide the actual price tag. There’s a banner at the top of Roli’s website informing you of the early bird deal ending very soon, and on the sites for the keyboard, if you look for the price you see the 599 price tag stroke out and the current 399 clearly tagged as temporary early bird discount price. It is currently a very good deal if the keyboard isn’t as flaky as their small edition. But at 600 it is another game. If it deserves raving reviews remains to be seen.

@ I want to get hands on with it for sure. The leaning piano software has lots of songs for it even though it’s a monthly price. It’s worth it for the price

@ yes, they have in the past. Other sites that sell gear also do discounts on ROLI products. How much of a discount varies from shop to shop
