I cry everytime i hear this because one day i caught my grandma singing this and I asked her , Ma how u kno that song, she said "sometimes songs a jus relatable and it comes in the radio too much" lol My grandpa made alot of decisions that tore apart my family, closed our businesses, and scarred us for generations. My grandma has dementia now and cries alot. All I remember is catching her singing this song, and hoping her fondest memories aren't of heartbreak. This is the best live performance or even recording (for those who doubt this) I have ever watched/listened to. I know Keyshia ain't the queen of singing techniques but damn, it takes an authentic and resistant singer to sing this song in this manner.
