I believe in God, but this made no sense. DMX was not at peace with himself. He found peace in drugs. And Frankie was clean for 3 months before she died. These people were struggling with drug addiction. Nobody is perfect. We all have our demons and make mistakes. But your body can only take so much abuse. Keyshia, you always been my favorite artist since I was 12 years old. I'm 27 now and I send my deepest condolences to you and the entire family. I was just telling my sister the other day how your life events and your music use to touch me at an early age because me and my siblings grew up with our mother on drugs and always in and out of the picture. And when she passed away back in 2011 due to an overdose it was very tragic and to hear this happened to your mom made me feel like I lost my mom all over again. Woah, the emotions be real... I'm grateful you shared your life with us over the years because since I was 12 loving you as an artist going through your family dysfunctional stage, it truly gave me hope that if you can make it in life given your circumstances.. then I can too! Be be safe, and take time to process all the emotions you feel and when it's time to release..then do so. Time will never heal this wound, but you can eventually learn to live with it better

She gave up our family home and moved into senior living apartments. I would go to the store for her clean her apartment do her laundry with my own money not hers. Mind you I lived over an hour away. One time she called me and said that she needed me to come by to read something that she had gotten in the mail... long story short these are examples of giving them their flowers. When God decided to call her home 3 months after she had turned 83 yrs old. I made sure that she went out the sameway.

I lost my mom to cancer. I thought seeing her suffer would somehow prepare me for the day. I was wrong, no matter their journey, there's no way to prepare for the absence of someone you love dearly. I became numb for a while & sometimes withdrawn. Time will teach you to cope. Frankie was a delight & her presence was loud. I REALLY rocked with her and wanted the best for her. I didn't know her personally but thank you for introducing the world to her❤.
