Hi, could you make a video about how to connect and synchronize The A-Z1? Simply no matter what I do I can't make it work nor with a laptop or a keyboard or sound module, thanks in advance.

It might be your midi channel set on your sound module or the keytar itself? I know the Casio AZ-1 has a midi 1 and 2. The Casio CZ-1000 can be set to any Channel you wish. Might be the problem. I honestly use the Widi Master wireless midi connector to use my Casio AZ -1. I’ll do a video if you want. Thanks for watching and commenting! 🎹🎸🤟 Keytar is life!

Hey, great to find a video about this keytar. How is it powered? From pictures I see it uses 2AA batteries, do you know how long would they last?

Thanks for watching and commenting. I’ve never put battery time to the test, but I can say I will put in batteries and not need to replace them in over a month. I play every other day, ish. Hopes this helps.

@@KeytarKris the 2 definable wheels is a modulation (vibrato effect) and definable buttons select to work up and the pitch bend wheel too. One definable button select or change a tone maybe ? And Midi channel A &B change or select again a tone two ?

Hey there! How do I hook my AZ 1 wirelessly to my keyboard!
@KeytarKris2 жыл бұрын
I use the CME WIDI Master to control my keyboards with my Keytars. They are about 50 to 60 bucks depending on where you buy them, but you need two. One for the keyboard or PC and another for the midi controller. Hope that helps.

So I'm very proud of my AZ-1. I bought it broken at $150, spent $70 to get it repaired at an electronics shop, and I use a Yamaha Bluetooth module to use my phone as a portable synth. Is there any way to define the definable controls without owning a Casio CZ synth?

I feel the same about my Roland Axis. I found both of them for $100. They were covered in dust and dirt and the owners didn’t know how they worked. They thought they were broken. Thanks for watching and commenting. Keytar is life!🎹🎸🤟

@@KeytarKris, maybe I should make my own video but I want to get the word out about these being broken. The guy who fixed mine told me it was a very easy repair. It's heartbreaking to think that some of these might get chucked in the trash for something as simple as a bad capacitor or blown resistor.
