Love the range of techniques. Really inspiring! The fingernails in particular work really well at 1:10 but there are all sorts of lovely sounds. And what a treat to see someone playing from memory - not enough people do this and it makes the whole thing so coherent and compelling. Thank you for this!

great question! I decided to find ways to highlight the contrast between the solo violin sections and tutti orchestra section in my arrangement so these were musical choices.
