KF Bioplants Pvt. Ltd. is the country’s largest Plant Tissue Culture company located at Pune; 150 km South of Mumbai. KF Bioplants has been pioneering in Plant Tissue Culture and Floriculture in India for the last 27 years.
We have 52 acres of operation which includes 12,000 m2 state-of-the-art tissue culture laboratory and 6.5 Ha. of fully automated green houses cum plant hardening units. We predominantly produce various elite ornamental flowering plants of Gerbera, Carnation, Gypsophila, Dendrobium, Limonium, Calla Lily, Roses along with fruit plants of Strawberry.
KF Bioplants is a Dutch joint venture company associated with HilverdaFlorist B.V.; The Netherlands. We also produce novelty plant species for 14 different breeder companies worldwide through contract production of their varieties.
To provide technical back-up to growers at their doorstep is our strength. We have a professionally trained and qualified team of about 35 marketing-cum-technical personnel who are graduates and post graduates in the field of horticulture and plant biotechnology. Guiding our clients from the technical point of view right from site selection till the end of the crop has been our USP. We have a cliental base to a tune of 6500 customers stretched all across our country. This has established a milestone in Indian Horticulture Sector.
We do export various flowering plant species to almost 30 countries across the Globe. With regard to supply of quality planting material; we have a giant share of 90% in the country.
Following are our product lines as:
a) Cut-flower plants: - We supply fully hardened plants of Gerbera, Carnation, Gypsophila, Dendrobium, Roses and Phalaenopsis for diversified climatic conditions in India.
b) Pot plants: - KF Bioplants has developed an exotic pot plants series, which includes gerbera (Landscape & Garvenia), Phalaenopsis and Dendrobium. These species are specially produced for homes, offices and landscape gardens for beautification. We supply hardened plants of this assortment.
c) Fruit Plants: - We provide excellent quality plants of fruit species like Strawberry. We have wide assortment of Strawberry genetics from Florida(USA), Spain and Israel. Our varieties are best performers for yield and quality of fruit.
