The director already said that MJ never had final edit anyway. The only feedback from him that influenced the documentary were the emphasis on Horace Grant winning against the Bulls and the inclusion of the game-winner against the Hawks in '95.

As a dedicated 80’s and 90’s bulls fan, I fully understood Jordan’s value as a teammate and how he TRULY helped to make his teammates better and his teammates confirm this. The doc just shows the world what us die hard back in the day already knew.

Director Jason Hehir: "I ran into zero stop signs in the editorial process. Michael was involved, but in a distant satellite-level while making it. He never came close to the editing room and only received cuts as they were about to go on air. I think Michael is above the fray when it comes to what he wants in and out."

The Jordan Doc inspired me greatly. I grew up in the 90's watching him. As soon as I finished watching I started playing basketball in the backyard lol been playing two or three times a week for months. MJ was the greatest of this era. Wilt Chamberlin is still the God of Basketball imo.

You can really train yourself to be great. I'm 32 and I'm better now than I was when I was 19. More focus more driven and more motivated. I'm Universes apart from where I was 10 11 12 years ago. But it all started with just making my mind up to be fu*king great. No days off no partying no drinking no girls. Just working on myself.

@@adityaravi5205 Me just realizing I could do better. In a sh*tty relationship being drugged down my whole life by losers. I hit rock bottom when I was 22. And I asked the Universe for help and it helped me right on the spot. Over the next few years after that night I just start learning about life and how to truly enjoy it. And it made me realize that the only limits you have in life are the ones you place on yourself. So I stop being scared of failure and opened my mind up to positive vibes. Staying away from negative people and things. Becoming more in tune with the vibrations of the Universe. Learning how to just go with the flow. Doing my best wherever the flow took me I did my best. Habits do small things that keep you on track simple like making your bed up every day when you get up. Keeping you house clean working out helps a lot and eating clean foods lots of greens not saying no junk food just not all the time. And one thing I do most people don't like to do is fast for 30 hours that helps clear the mind. But work up to it.

I'm from the Bay Araa where we breath in Oxygen, breath out everything Warriors as dioxide. We get to be privy to local coverage nobody else Nationwide sees and Steve Kerr has on numerous occasions talked about how much he loves MJ. Jordan made him a winner. Part of that process is the tough love. Kerr says he loves MJ, but don't get it twisted: he was scared shitless of him too. But Kerr says that between Michael and Phil Jackson, if he hadn't had them in his life like he did, he flat out wouldn't be a head coach today. He half jokes everything that he's successfully accomplished as a coach he stole from both of them. And most revealing was how he handled the situation when Draymond knocked out Jordan Poole in a practice dust up. Kerr had to go no nonsense tough love on Draymond and suspended him, make him apologize to his team and privately apologize to Poole before being let back onto the team. He acknowledged without specifics this came from Jordan crossing a line with him and Phil tossing MJ from the facility and making MJ apologize to the team and Kerr in private. Kerr said MJ was still tough love with him after, but never physical again and it made him transcend to the next level. Kerr's 36 second speech after they won their sixth ring to the mass of fans at their downtown parade where he hilariously alters events of their last drive with his revisionist history is comedy gold.

I became a huge NBA fan b/c I happened to watch that bills game where starks dunked on mj. The press had a field day w/ the gambling photos the night b4 the game saying headlines " air is human " how he was awful he's finished & then I finally rewatch that game 2 & mj had 25 at the half! Then the bulls just destroyed the Knicks the next 4 games & yea they really eeked out gm 5 w/ the end stopping poor Charles Smith who ny ran out if town. The press really like to create a narrative & back in the 90s u just believed it was all true. That gambling surveillance happened to coincide w/ the Knicks game & yes starks had a great dunk & the press made it like mj was such a degenerate gambler that he had all these debts & got his dad murdered. Anyway point is I want more documentaries where the subj just gets their own story out w/o am editor putting spin on it. Same where Britney spears put out finally her words & said she had offers to go on Oprah & all these places but u get their interruptions editing pushing an agenda instead she spoke freely unfiltered & then as the public u really can listen & decide what u think. That's why people were so riveted by the last dance. Covid had shut sports & the world down & it was awesome to hear all the real stories about everything. Another thing is I think many learned how scottie pippen was a selfish a hole who blamed everyone else for his bad choices. If he had been drafted by like Sacramento or any 2nd or 3rd tier city & not playing next to mj would he be a dream team hof 50 greatest player 6 ring champion? No. I think pippen was the right guy who played the exact role he needed to Play to get mj over the top. How many clutch shots to pippen have in any playoff game at the end ? None. The only memorable play he ever had was in a series he lost w/o the magic man no 23 leading him. When he dunked on Ewing taunted poor Patrick & pointed in spike Lee's face. Great. The same series u quit on ur team & immediately loomed horrible when Phil Jackson's play for kukoc worked. Other talented small fwds around the league at the time were complaining about pippen

LeBron has not achieved the exact same thing as Jordan. Every player is compared to Jordan for a reason. There are tons of clips of Lebron screaming at his team mates just like Jordan. The Lebron documentary, however, will never show that. It’s been about appearances with Lebron since coming into the league. Jordan followed Phil Jackson’s lead. Phil Jackson was their leader. You cannot be a tyrant if you are following orders. Jordan didn’t come back because they got rid of Phil. LeBron James has gotten several coaches fired throughout his career because it’s his way or the Highway. LeBron called him self the greatest of all time, Jordan never has said he was the greatest, everybody else does that for him.

I think these are examples of the bias towards Michael Jordan I agree with Bill Burr usually but I left the documentary feeling like Jordan was a jackass, we find it ok because he won this is the world we end up with Trump. Jordan also used his power to keep Isaiah off the team, ok fine but don't lie about it. I came away feeling the same he's the GOAT just not a great person and that's ok.
