Hey! Is there some sort of maker-lab student facility at KFUPM, where soldering equipment, microscopes, oscilloscopes, CNC machines etc. would be accessible for students to use during their time on KFUPM to work on their own projects? I know there are student clubs that you can join, is that a way to get access to similar equipment? I would love to pursue my bachelors in Computer Engineering at KFUPM. Thanks!

You can use the lab facilities. Not sure,specifically, about he soldering.

Hello brother few months ago, I applied for a PHD program at KFUPM and recently had the interview. Today, I received a response email from the professor saying that he recommended me to the faculty for admission. Could you please tell me what this means? Am I already selected, or do I have to wait for the faculty's confirmation? I have another offer, but KFUPM is my priority, so I need to make a decision soon.

Is this true that Saudi universities take a lot of time in application processing? Sometimes they even take a whole year to proceed as selection involves university and then ministry of education then visa process.

It’s depends but mostly true. This semester I've 3 class.two pf them are on after lunch & one is after dinner.
