Nice work Maybe they had the cylinder off for the top end rebuild and left it out in the rain for a bit. Very weird, that would explain the wood too. I can't understand why you would put it back together like that.I just rebuilt the engine on an old 1992 DR650. I followed a lot of your advice and she runs perfectly. Thanks so much.

My grandson chain come of and broken the crankcase right below the shifter. Do i half to take the top end all off the change the left side case on a Kawasaki 400 kfx
