A Cub Scout's first hike and Summits On The Air Activation - Mt. Lewis

Had the honor of taking my buddy Carlos and his son Elias, a 9-year old cub scout, on his first hike to W6/CT-246 Mt. Lewis for a ham radio SOTA activation. He was able to try working a HF station, participated in setting up the ham radio station and antenna, built a shelter, and traversed some steep hills.
And he found a geocache!
