I know it's hard for you liberals to believe but there are millions of people in this country that are fed the hell up with both sides and just want a government that is "for the people" again, not a government run by corporations. Not a government hellbent on reinforcing viewpoints on a situation happening in another country that has been happening for decades and will never change regardless of what these CA city councils do. If a city in a country that has no power to stop a conflict happening in another country brings a vote to declare a resolution for peace in said country how in the hell is that not simply virtue signaling theater? It's pointless and a waste of taxpayer funds for these city council members to take the time to hear viewpoints and vote on this subject when the result will have no effect on anything that occurs in the middle east.
