Rocky didn't plan on killing Adheera that day, he planned on sparing his life. Hence they were shooting around him... Only one bullet was shot at him when he tried to shoot Rocky that too won't kill him because there's an entire valley in between and although Ak 47(kalashnikov) has a good range, it's not a sniper to target people at far ranges, it might hit but I don't think it'll be fatal for a man like Adheera, I mean it was established that Adheera was almost super human walking on fire and shit.
