Sounds like a lobbyist was able to worm their way into putting small businesses in danger due to microscopic competition.

I'm glad the state is leaving this woman alone - (for now). Regarding that youtuber - LOL! He's not taking that video down - he's making way too much $$$ on clickbait and misinformation.

I don't really see that much issue or exaggeration/"misinformation" here at all. The only real inaccuracies to Yansa presented here was his stating that they had sent her a cease & desist order and that she was being shut down. Anything else isn't misinformation or a inaccuracy, rather, a matter of perspective and opinion based on a person's own facts they've observed. And the latter here is fine, if not encourage universally. The white papers prove the Government in fact WAS seeking to take the very over-regulation they themselves claimed was present FURTHER with both policy changes, but got squirrely when people caught wind of their BS via that very Yansa video and the various outlets who picked it up. And the other with the water? That is clear it is literally revoking people's water rights "for the people" and then in case that isn't enough to convince people it's altruistic, it's also "to save our waterways, wetlands and wildlife like fish." Yeah right. Literally rewording the legal text to "our water" and "the people's water" and enforcing well and pump gauges on private property without notice is beyond egregiously wrong, immoral and indefensible, and proves that their intention are in fact exactly as people like Yansa claim in the video. People worked their asses off to make enough money to save enough to buy that property and move there, complete with their wells, pumps and water rights owned by them. And you move to revoke it and legally claim they have no rights to it? Inexcusable. Further, even if they did give a notice ahead of time, that is still something that should be illegal for a government to do, let alone anyone else. How exactly one can argue and think it logical and in good faith that those are not related policies is well beyond ability to fathom, because they are mutually exclusive. And Oregon has a wild amount of properties that are on wells throughout the state, most often starting within 1/2-1 mile from the edge of towns, smaller cities and suburbs, for some weird reason. You look in those areas and you're extremely hard pressed to find a single property not on well and septic. And back to the other change that directly targeted small farmers and backyard "farmers" (just people self-sustaining on their own food supplies), what even YOU have admitted and implied here is that the big corporate dairy farms and the big dairy/ag lobbies spent a lot of money to pay their way into having Oregon's politicians back them up and give them their way with it, all because "BUT MUH PROFITS" for the few thousand dollars they might miss out on annually. Even a couple million isn't even a penny in their pocket for them. That proves the usual corruption and politicians being bought, and thus our state government being bought into the will and pockets of these corporate interests. What else is new. And it also proved that the same politicians in our government got panicked and backed out (FOR NOW) only due to the immense awareness and pressure the video Yansa posted that you're picking at in this video. Pretty ironic, and proves why this exact kind of thing NEEDS TO BE ENCOURAGED. Doesn't matter if it contains tons of opinion, "conspiracy", inaccuracies or even lies ("misinformation") - all is good as it forces mass awareness and debates to crop up on bills, changes and topics that otherwise would go ignored and unnoticed. It proves that very video was not bad or a negative, but in fact, a huge net-positive, and even has aided this lady and her tiny farm in Newberg gain a load more notoriety and name recognition than she'd have ever received otherwise. And that is huge for her, her farm and any business she decides to start from it. I guarantee 90% of us would have never learned of her or her farm's existence without that video, let alone those white papers and thus legal changes by the State. So yes, we should all be very thankful for folks like Yansa bringing these things into our attention.

I subscribed to that channel a while ago when I noticed them basically shit talking everything for clicks. I wouldn't approach a channel like that; it's better to use YT tools to have them taken down legitimately, then you can listen to them cry on another video where they complain they're being canceled (they'll be very explicit how much they don't care, they take a lot of time to go into why it's not worth their time). I subscribe to every crazy nationalist channel I find so I know who's going to be headed to the ammo store if their beloved demigod fails again.

I like how all these farmers are pointing the finger at the government and not corporations. But don't worry I'm sure when Trump puts the CEO of Monsanto in charge of the Department of Agriculture everything will be fine again🤣

Small farms need to be environmentally responsible as well. And as collective, they have just as much impact as one of the large organizations. Farmers don’t deserve a break unless everyone else is getting a break. If there’s laws in the books, they apply.
