​@@JabamiLain Wrong. Remember that once Anakin lost Padmé he became a will-less dog for Palpatine, Heartless are much easier to control and manipulate. (Vader from Order 66-Episode V before he learned the truth.) Unlike Nobodies that are more erratic, and harder to manipulate. In any case his Nobody would be Anakin from Episode V-VI as ironically his EpV incarnation is trying to reconnect with who he was. Although in a distorted way.

As cool as that would be, I imagine facing a Prime Anakin while being consumed by the Dark Side of the Force to be an incredibly hard battle. Probably a super boss on the same level as Sephiroth, if not harder. With reaction commands to break out of Force Holds and straight up parrying your physical attacks. Perhaps having a reaction command upon his parry that you have to time really well (like the command you get during the Xemnas fight at the skyscraper).

@@pyxl666 not that vader/anakin aren't impressive but I feel like Sora scales very well. the 'skyscraper' reaction during the end of KH2, when he is slicing buildings in 2 is a good example of how busted the kid is. the "magical" aspects of the keyblade and in fact his actual honest to god Magic, make it a closer fight in my mind. I wouldn't say no to a super boss though. KH usually has amazing super bosses.

Disney is likely not going to be involved with KH going forward. They were difficult as hell during the development of KHIII and caused multiple delays and budget runovers. Also they develop their own games now anyway. Pretty sure KH4 has not even hinted a Shitney character appearance yet

The forest scene it shows is California Redwoods, the set for Endor in Episode VI, and you can clearly make out an AT-ST walker foot in the corner of one of those shots. Sora is going to a long time ago, in a galaxy far, far away.

KH4 has a perfect oportunity to use Star Wars. Sora is at his lowest, alone and without contact with his friends. Getting him in contact with characters that turned to the dark after becoming alono would show him what he could become. Also, Star Wars could get a win in this

Xehanort’s explanation if his motives in kh3’s end was so not like the xehanort you see throughout the series. He wanted to use kingdom hearts to get rid of darkness? Then why call yourself the seeker of darkness, use darkness to purposely hurt and manipulate people, clearly enjoy doing it and keep doing it as if you want darkness?! His motives never made sense

Or how he manipulated Ven by splitting him apart as an experiment to achieve the X-Blade, or taking Terra as a vessel to warp his heart to darkness? He was so he should everyone his ambitions and power that he wanted, which was to get darkness from Kingdom Hearts. His motives don't make sense to us because that's what he wants.

I can actually imagine an Episode 1 fight in Kingdom Hearts II with this song. Probably have moments with Reaction Command to block Maul's attacks and Darth Maul repelling Sora via the Force when you get too aggressive or attempt to stunlock him. A Star Wars Kingdom Hearts world is painfully fitting to the point it hurts. There is already the light versus dark theme in Star Wars.

Assuming they go with the Original Trilogy (which they likely might, considering the forest in the teaser looked like Endor's moon) Vader would probably be the main boss of a potential SW world. My idea would be to have some form of Data Battle against another SW villain where this would play. If it was specifically Duel of the Fates, it'd probably be Maul.

Other than the image, love the theme. I think "KH 4" story will be about Sora finding out there are other forms of power outside of magic, Light, Darkness and Nothingness (such as the Force), and he has to face his own issues to prevent himself from infecting those power sources with his own powers, particularly its dark aspect.

I'm fully expecting the Sin Eaters from Shadowbringers to show up. MoM has nigh been confirmed to be this nebulous being of light, and yet he's supporting antagonists like Xehanort and Xigbar (you couldn't pay me to call him Luxu) who wish for nothing more but the complete consumption of the universe into darkness. So MoM is probably playing into his own side's hand, and having darkness take over so that the real monsters of the light can get that leg up they desperately need.

@@Signedcentaur well, the deepest and largest shadows stem from objects undee the most powerful light. It makes sense MoM puts pressure on the world through darkness. He seems to be trying to birth some sort of ultimate savior, kinda like Kreia tried to mold Meetra, with the difference Kreia respected the exile to find her own path. But as you said, he doesn't seem to understand the shadows he backs up rebel and try to blot out the sun. Or he understands, and is trying to weed out the weak to get his savior to destroy darkness, which pretty much makes darkness consume itself. Thing is, his goal is impossible. It's an uroboros.
