I played a lot of KH2 when I was a kid, and a childhood dream of mine was to play as Roxas through the whole game. And not as the clunky Roxas from the intro, but the real deal: the full-powered dual-wielding Roxas from the boss fight. This mod is that dream. Moreso than any other Roxas mod I've seen, you are capturing the essence of that version Roxas, and even taking it several steps further. Like Xaddgx really captured the 'feeling' of playing as Vanitas, you are doing the same for this iconic character. You're making my childhood dream come true. Thank you man, I'm beyond glad you're still working on this. If you ever get a Patreon or if there is ever some other means of supporting the project I would for sure donate. As great as the others are, I personally want to see this mod completed more than any other KH mod currently in development. Cheers and good luck on the project moving forward! :)

With how many things this mod does that blows my previous knowledge of modding out of the water, this is basically magic to me at this point. I absolutely love the inclusion of days keyblades and dark corridors as save points! With each update this more and more becomes the definitive Roxas mod! Plus the inclusion of a brand new enemy right out of days has got me TOO EXCITED! Hopefully, now we can actually stagger him lol

The save point "energy" fluctuations actually affect the UI! Super cool! I love how snappy and aggressive he is, while also not being too flashy. You can clearly tell what he's doing with each and every bit of his combo.

This is looking absolutely insane man! I'm loving the direction this mod is going for a playable hooded Roxas. It's honestly what I wish for when it came to a remake of 358/2 Days. My only suggestion I would like to make for what I can assume is Dimension Fracture? Is that for that little pause for when clicking "Shatter," maybe you could add the animation from when Roxas does his circular aoe attack in the original Roxas fight. The stance where he twirls his Keyblades before unleashing the aoe at the start of the fight. I believe that would make a pretty sick finishing animation and would be less disjointed. Again just a suggestion though, but regardless, keep up the good work!

So, I notice you're aiming for an extremely aggressive style of play for Roxas. I don't know the first thing about modding or coding, but is there a way to implement an ability where you gain mp relative to damage DEALT, sort of like an opposite to mp rage?

maybe it could be called MP Fury? and I think that is possible if you reuse the code for the Limit form default ability where landing limit attacks restores health, just make it so it happens even on normal hits and heals MP instead of HP

The quality of this mod is off the charts! It's crazy that this is possible now. I especially like that the amount of particles on-screen at any given time does not surpass vanilla KH2. You can actually see what you're doing while attacking! Most character mods get this wrong in both KH2 and KH3, where they'll just flood the screen with particle effects.

You have no idea how long I’ve waited for this. To finally play as Roxas and everything he was fully capable of. This is almost perfect to every detail. From the dual wielding right down to the faith beams. I have merely two things that I would adore for you to add however long it would take you to. 1) When Roxas does Twilight Hour, having the sky change to Dusk just like his Limit break in his kh2 boss fight would be amazing. It would be a small detail, but so symbolic. 2) Another thing with Twilight Hour (which I noticed you made look like a combination of Kh2 and Days. Nice detail btw), if you could have the camera slightly shake as he’s doing his final limit summoning the sky beams, that would also be amazing. It adds that extra impact like when he does it in Days. Great work.

I just found out about the evolution of this mod and its progress is absolutely unbelievable. I couldn't help but compare it to the Xaddgx's Vanitas mod, since it's the one I've played the most. Therefore I thought that's how good it would get when it came to mods in KH2FM. That being said, the new mechanics, abilities, playstyles you've created (and the fact you turned the "save point" into a f*cking dark portal 🤯) are ultimately amazing. There's not an overusage of effects just so it looks pretty: the options available (forms, attacks and other commands) all serve a new purpose and therefore the gameplay is completely different. Great job and, like everyone else, I await anxiously for the mods release

Some of the keyblades could definitely stand for some better abilities. Obviously keep stuff like Combo Boost on Twilight Blaze, but some of the lamer abilities like MP Rage could be replaced. Just to make some of the keyblades more usable in the late game. And obviously the name changes should happen, but I know the build is a WIP. Looks fantastic so far, I love the save point being the shadowy portal, that’s absolutely genius!

Maybe uhh, tone down the volume on the save points? The effects are cool but its a little persistently loud, audio balance is hard though and I'm unsure how high you have the general volume cranked
