Now we are just creating secondary rules because we want to. I don't think that is fair personally, but people can play the game however they choose.

Here's my theory: The cutscenes and forced fights are like flags that keeps track of Sora's location. The first forced fight (requires Wisdom Form) triggers pretty much everything inside CoR (with the exception of the mining room, which has a separate trigger (the three turning thingies) and the way out to Radiant Garden (the computer). However, since we didn't do that fight at all, the game goes on limbo since you're in the Garden of Assemblage instead of being kicked in the ass in the first Forced Fight, hence the missing forced nobody fights in Transport to Remembrance, the unfightable Data Org members, etc. However, the trigger for the shortcut to Radiant Garden is on the computer. and since you haven't done the last forced Nobody fight (which I believe is the triggers ALL the stuff at Garden of Assemblage), you cannot activate the computer trigger.

+scriptedpvp He kind of did. Or at least played a huge role in it. Ace found the glitch, Liquid found a setup, but he was the one who came up with the idea with master form hover all the way up to the door. So yeah, without him, this sequence break wouldn't have worked.

+Zack Rhodes I think it's just because of a collision error with this particular ledge. If you could find other ledges to clip off, anyways, you'd have to use lots of Drive Recoveries and it'd need to be an area where a trigger is loaded but blocked. I don't know this game quite as well as the speedrun community, but I can't think of many places if any where those conditions would apply. Due to the time it takes to get that many Drive Recoveries, the cost of failing, and the slim number of places where it'd be useful if a ledge clip were found, this glitch or any variation of it will probably never be in an any% run.

+OyVeey Yeah, especially given the fact that those abilities (Aerial Dodge and Glide) don't even become accessible until much later in the game. You have to complete like 1/2 the story before Master Form (and subsequently A.D.) become available, and like almost all the story before Final Form and Glide become available. So even if you could clip through a spot in, say, The Land of Dragons, you can't even do anything with it until your second visit there (or AFTER the second visit if Glide is needed, thereby rendering it useless).

Not sure how long that takes personally, but grinding ~25 of them probably takes some time, which defeats the purpose. If you lose more time preparing for the glitch than you save actually doing the glitch then it's pointless, so all that has to be factored in. It's not a question of how hard it is to get drive recoveries, but how long it takes to grind the amount needed.

I'm not sure if someone tested this, but if you do this before 1000 heartless and demy; none of the chambers appear, but the chests are fine and if you leave into restoration site the nobody fight occurs, no OoB. Just thought I mention!

Do you know if you can still 100% everything as normal even after this glitch? Such as could I still do everything I'd normally be able to do if I didn't do the glitch and if I took the normal route of the Cavern after the glitch would anything change?

+Philosocrastinator There is no side effect beside you get the 3 chests in the room early and you can softlock the game by falling off from bound. You can still fight datas and complete 100% Journal if you revisit CoR normally..

So I have been able to get the clip without needing to land after the attack. Ivve done it like 4 or 5 times now. I hit the wall with my swing and then rotate the camera and hold forward to immediatly grab it. I also saw goofy fall and get the ledge clip on his own which was really weird. Also if you get the clip after the attack you don't get the first aerial dodge after you drop to start the hovering so you need to immediatly go into master form.

So, I've saw this the first time about a year and a half ago, but I'm just going back and finally doing a lvl 1 crit play though (of which I suck at) and because I'm stuck at demyx rn I started thinking to myself "if only I had final form, then I could beat the cavern"... then I realized, I already have master... and you don't need final for this clip, so conceivably, you can have a crown before you beat the game, and you can do it as soon as you get master form, right? I mean your reflect isn't reflega but that shouldn't matter because it still holds your height and you don't have as much mp, but you can still farm drive recovery items at the start of the cavern, and maybe not have a maxed aeriel dodge, but with enough drive recovery items, you should be able to bypass that.

It's not necessary to hit the wall as long as you stand in the correct spot. before jumping.

mistertapman The game knows when you've picked up a chest and you can't pick it up twice. If it didn't you could try to perform a sort of loop to get 2 crowns and get Gold Crown.
