Kha's W AP ratios comes from a time when items like Hextech gunblade existed, to make the AP on it not totally useless. Previously to that, they would also put AP ratios on AD champ abilities that they didn't want to scale. Old Jax was a prime example of this old Riot design philosophy.

Kha passive also used to be ap scale so there was an invis bush cheese kha top build that would use his old ult upgrade to farm passive dmg (which did physical even though it AP scaled) then heal up after trading with W

Hi zwag! the reason certain champs have random ap ratios on things not worth building ap for is because baron gives 30 ap flat when it is taken, also the support item that gives ap synergyses by giving more healing!

You gotta try the "christian kha'zix". It's a W max AP kha build that's pretty fun. Liandrys burn, mega heals with W, just a poking/healing machine. There's a vid on KZbin about it

Usually a build like this focusses more on bruiser items for the health, goredrinker cleaver give a Ton of haste and makes you way tankier, w evolve has insane utility midgame if you stay alive

2 days prior I was trying to play Katarina mid for a challenge and I was against a Kha’Zix. I got utterly destroyed early game, he hurt me so much even in my minion wave when I wasn’t alone. I managed to come back later and we won but it was my first time seeing him mid and he’s a menace in lane.

Could you play a Lich Bane/Ludens, on hit Viktor? When I still played Viktor was my main and Lich was busted on him back then, although this was when he had his unique item you had to upgrade to get your evolved skills, i have no idea how you get the evolved skills now. He currently gains stacks of like knowledge or hextech stuff when you kill things which when you get 100 of them you can evolve an ability(after 300 ult upgrades automatically). It rewards a aggressive or perfect farming playstyle. You get one stack for minion and 50 for champ kills (cannons maybe worth 10 or 12 or 15 but i don't remember). A bit like draven
