Sir, with due respect to the segment of Firhang-e-asfiya, Tyohar as we have read in Hindi grammar that etymology of Tyohar is from Tithi + var, 'tithi' means a particular date and 'var' is a word for 'vala' like sabjivala chaivala etc. since festivals are based on the articular dates this is known as tithivar, but in hindi, 'v' of sanskrit has become 'au' or 'o' so 'Tyohar'. and hindi or sanskrit for 'vihar' is 'vyavhar', vihar means 'park' in hindi. and if by your explanation 'haar' is not word for food its "aahar". just an opinion based on hindi grammar.

Correction about rattel snake there is no dirt or ball like particle attached in its tail during ecdysis process (removal of skin layer). Rattle snake erect tail muscles and its segments collide with each other to produce the recognizable rattling sound. Because the structure is essentially hollow, the sound waves bounce off the walls and generate a distinct amplified rattling sound.
