We can start breaking those bad generational habits/mindsets starting with our own families In-sha-ALLAH. You don't need generations of strength, although that's even better. You just need to start with a strong foundation: Good mother and father actually raising/nurturing their kids. These days have mainly overworked/stressed one parent household with kids raising themselves with the internet/streets/bad friends etc.(no manners/no respect/materlistic). It's sad the staggering amount of broken families I see putting money over morals, backstabbing, disrespect, fighting, abandonment etc.

I fully understand his love and loyalty. My mom lived with me the final 24 years of her life and she died age 93. I was 48 when she died and part of me went with her, the part of me that remains is strength from her. I honor my father, he is alive and I don't want him to die because I will then feel both like orphan and warrior. Tradition in my family is always care for parents in every way and I miss my mother every day yet regret nothing because I am strong for her and for myself and I am blessed
