Its even more crazy how he explains it on Tyson’s podcast. For him, he thought that since Connor insulted his religion & family, that Connor was willing DIE by what he said. On Tyson’s podcast he said when people where I come from talk like that it’s because they’re willing to die. At that point its not just business. So when Connor tapped it was like an insult like “you mean to tell me all that was a performance? you weren’t willing to die over this sh!t” It’s crazy how much Khabib resembles warriors of old.

As someone who grew up having a father who didn't really care about a relationship with me, even though he was as hard on me - it's amazing to see someone like Khabib grow up to be baddest pound for pound on the planet and yet one of the most humble people you will ever meet. Khabib has gotta be one of the most beautiful human beings ever. He's so humble and genuine and you can see that he has a deeply introspective and compassionate heart. He seems to always be super generous in sharing his time and wisdom but I think one of the biggest things that sets him apart is his faith. Just from observing his character over the years, I had to completely rethink everything I used to assume about the Muslim religion because the first time I heard him say "Alhumduli" I could have sworn that man had the hand of God on his shoulder.

I don't think people (including myself) will ever be able to understand the life Khabib has had, growing up in Dagestan and how much work he put into MMA. He literally just trained and dedicated everything to being the best, came to the UFC and absolutely destroyed everybody. The morals and beliefs he has are incredible and how he sticks to them and won't bend or break for anyone or anything. The love and respect he has for his family especially his dad is something I really admire about him. This guy came from the the absolute toughest environment and roughest place/life and accomplished a career nobody else has. Khabib is the greatest of all time and that's a fact!

He is what hosting is about. He has no agenda, doesn't appear nervous or contrived. I would love to watch him do a full interview alone.
