Not quite, I think I dont remember if it was exactly like this, but I seem to remember the Light empowers those who fervently BELIEVE their cause Is Righteous. Its why, for example, Sally Whitemane was stated to have such power and control over the Light that she far outmatched even the strongest of paladins (save a few, like Tirion Fordring who Is in a league of His own [see when Darion tried to ress him as undead]). As in, Lillian Voss in MoP says that the only reason the Scarlet Crusade was consistently winning was because every Time a Crusader died, Sally just ressed him. And even after she was revived as a DK she STILL was Able to use the Light. To Sally, purging every forsaken was the most Righteous and noble of causes, so her belief in that Righteousness was so strong She was an utter powerhouse. If anything, Anduin here realized that despite what he did, the Light Will still aid him, should His cause be Righteous.

Good cinematic, but definitely could have made Khadgar’s resurrection/healing cooler. Anduin just puts his hand on him with a little glow and boom that’s it. Could have had him do like a prayer to the Light or just make what he did looker cooler. Doesn’t have to be on the level of what he did in the battle for Azeroth trailer but just spice it up more.

No, Sylvanas wanted to empower the Jailer so he could remake reality to be more "fair." The Jailer tricked Sylvanas into thinking this, as he really just wanted to rule everything. Sylvanas was tricked and believed she was fighting for everyone's freedom. Xal'atath is trying to claim Azeroth's soul. We are unsure how or for what exact purpose yet. Xal'atath is fighting purely for selfish goals and/or to empower the Void to consume the universe.

Xal'atath is a better villain, she is brilliant and colorful and... arrogant. She could have stopped Alleria from releasing that arrow with a single move of palm... but thanks to her arrogance, Alleria fractured "the dark heart " and khadgar escaped. Only to be revived by Anduin. Say what you will about Sylvanas, at least she never underestimated her opponents, or played the arrogant card and get's f****d by someone much more weaker then her. I hoped Khadgar truly have died, because true consequence gives the flavor. If all the good characters keep being saved, healed and revived it starts to lose is taste and become a child game, where evil is always vanquished by friends. Now Anduin can use the light... Where are the consequences from domination magic ? He is not an undead, now he is mentally ok and can use the light. He got out from domination and mournblade without a single scratch. Imagine if that was the fate of Arthas after frostmourne broke😢

I want/hope he's void-tainted. He showed up sooner than I expected, I confess. I did expect we'd see him in the ethereal patch but I have the sneaking suspicion that he'll be a sleeper agent - not created by Xal'atath but for the void lords. We do know that he has remarkable resistance to corrupting powers; Fel and even arcane magic, but its hard to wash the void's stink off you. So I'm wondering what effect this will have on him, and if Alleria may need to mentor him through void corruption.

Arthas had the twist when he was paladin as well. dint compare him with anduin. he was in a relationship when it was prihibited and dont forget how bold and careless he acted. plus destroying entire city like that, that changed nothing at the end. arthas always had the twist in his personality, even before morneblade.
