Govt are mere custodians only. The govt should not act as per their wills and fancies. CAG audits the income and expenditure and also questions the unreasonable expenditure and seeks explanation. For Uñreasoñable expenditure, the govt should be penalised the concerned officials/govt to recover the same. In the last 5 years, the administration lost its control due to excessive involvement politicians resulting outside debts crossed 14 lakh crores. The new govt should initiate steps to penalise the concerned officials/ political bosses in previous govt.
