Khajjiar Mini Switzerland Of India is a beautiful hill station of Himachal Pradesh. Khajjiar is just 22 Kms from Dalhousie. Khajjiar is about 2,000 metres (6,500 ft) above sea level in the foothills of the Dhauladhar ranges. Khajjiar is part of the Kalatop Khajiar Sanctuary.
Khajjiar Lake is a small lake, surrounded by saucer-shaped lush green meadow and a floating island.
Khajji Nag Temple is little away from the lake belonging to the 12th century CE made by the king of Chamba, Prithvi Singh. This temple is dedicated to snake (Nag).
Dainkund is the highest peak in Dalhousie and gets maximum snowfall during the winter season. Dainkund Peak is one of the most visited places in Dalhousie and is located at an altitude of 2755 meters above sea level. It gives 360 view of the entire valley. Pohlani Devi is a temple dedicated to Pohlani Mata, it is nestled between stupendous Dauldhar Ranges. Total Trek to Pohlani Mata Temple is about 1.5 Kms.
