Khakas art song "Ymai" [Umai / Umay] [a Shaman Goddess of Turks] by Toma N. Davletova [vocal performance and playing a Khakas traditional musical instrument "chatkhan"] Brief Info: A Khakas art song "Ymai" (Umay), lyrics and music by Alisa Kyzlasova (Borgoyakova), the People`s Artist of Khakas Republic. This song is not a lullaby, it is a song-benediction, which was written for the play "Taglarnyng altyn pubayy" ("Golden Cradle of Mountain Spirits" of Alisa Kyzlasova, which was staged by A.M.Topanov Khakas National Drama Theater in 1990`s Abakan, Khakas Republic. The phrase "altyn pubay" (Golden Cradle) means our planet Earth and the words khuray-khuray, altyn pubay! are good wishes in her address. The play tells the story of the fate of Tag Khyzy (daughter of the mountain spirits) and the young brave, kut (spirit) of whom was gifted to lonely old man and old woman by the Goddess Umay." Khakas people are descendants of the Yenisey Kyrgyz and by religious ID are Shamanist Turks who live in Southern Siberia, north-east to sacred Altai Mountains on the left bassin of the world's fourth largest aquaway Yenisey River at very heart of vast Asia continent where the Nature and History and Mythology meet each other... timur bey hakasca altyazi da alabilseydik keske tabi turkiye latin harfleriyle boylelikle okumasi kolay olsun, umay tanrimiza okunan algisi boylelikle anlamis oluruz..rusca yazildi mi anlasilmasi cetlesiyor, latin damgalariyla yazilmis altyazilarin tuva, altay, hakas vb sibirya yerlisi turk bodunlarin turkcesini anlamak daha kolay udu (ve) anlasilir
