This match confirms a question I had: when rolling for tank or bruiser/melee hero, would it require a Varian pick have to go taunt if it were given during a tank roll? And TB/CS if picked for a bruiser roll? I'm personally not fond of them getting to pick, as it gives them more variability than other picks. Even if Varian is only optioned for tank picks, and people just forgo a tank; in certain comps, that can be a powerful choice that others don't get

THAT guy in the comments (thanks for recognizing me lol). Artanis is bad, but if you have to play him, laser ult isn't as bad as everyone claims *situationally. Neither ult is amazing. Aoe blind is about as useful as johanna blind - good for an interrupt and not much else. Damage mediocre, duration short. Laser is nigh worthless save for channel interrupt on objective until lvl 20. But then it forces continuous stutter stepping which vs an immobile hero like tassadar does carry some weight - more than a single aoe blind does vs a genji. It's like the resource inefficient but apm efficient base harassment in starcraft 2 of a zergling runby. Some value is better than effectively no value. Sincerely, the guy who made bw popular (for a few years now) in competitive tournaments. Not to mention the experimental alternative diablo, arthas, and leoric talent choices you've been seeing over the past few years (in your tournaments) to name a few. There is logic to the madness.

What are you talking about? Arthanis aoe blind is a lot better than jhoanna. You can cancel all aa damage from the whole team for 4 seconds. Enemy arthanis can't refuse CD with aa during this time, enemy tassadar can't use his archon etc. it saves a lot of hp to your team.

This game still exists? Last time I tried to play I waited 20 minutes in queue and never actually got matched.

wut? When u played it? At 4 a.m.? I got matched in 1 minute vs AI at 00:30 a.m. (quick games and aram are even faster, rated... i dont know :-D )

@ it was a couple years ago. Quick match. Middle of the afternoon eastern time.
