In the whole series the dragons were loved by her as a mother and they loved her as a mother too. They showed us the childish dragons looking up to Dany then getting rebellious as teens to Dany punishing them like a mother until they grew up to follow her mother. But two of them died. The other lived lonely, without his mother and brother! And they say Dany wad mad! Who won't go mad when her sons are killed, ignored by the man she loves, betrayed by subordinates and losing her one true friend. She is the only queen for me. Poor drogon!

Yeah for me S1-6 amazing. S7 is hit or miss and S8 is trash. I still think Drogan just took Dany east so he could resurrect her as the Night Queen. If I can deal with Vyserion's end (since he started to cosplay Sindragosa at the same episode), I cannot forgive what have they done with Rhaegal since it was as stupid as possible. Like how could he be shot down in way like that if an episode later Drogon did destroy the whole army of Cercei&Euron without any kind of effort? Dragons are imperfect, they can be killed by good weapons like ice spear or harpoons (though both died by sinking, not to mention nobody could help them to get out from water (if we imagine that wounds weren't lethal) and both are heavy), but Drogon is good enough to avoid things which could kill him. Anyway in fact that their deaths may be the only moment besides the one when their step-mother locked them down to prevent innocents from being killed by them is the only moment when we cared of them (though dragons brought Khaleesi a large popularity)

As I watched this, I had some interesting thoughts. There's a saying: "Those who are ignorant of the past are doomed to repeat it". Was Dany ever told about her father and his obsession with fire, I wonder? I know Ser Barristan Selmy was happy to tell her about her elder brother, Rhaegar, but I'm not sure if he ever told her about Aerys and how he burned people alive, and how he'd had King's Landing mined with Wild Fire, with the idea of torching it and everyone in it on a whim. He might have been killed before he could do so, but his daughter succeded with dragon fire. Would she have have gone on the rampage with Drogon if she had known her father intended to do the same, I wonder?

If Drogon senselessly murdered a bunch of innocent people, the witnesses of this deed will automatically come to the conclusion that the other dragons are just as dangerous. It was either that, or risk harming more people/have those same people kill her dragons.
