I really feel lucky whenever I see this movie and remember watching this masterpiece in Theatre. I was a big fan of Mahesh and trivikram combo and went to the theatre despite the flop talk. I was studying 10th at that time. I really enjoyed it a lot and wondered how this movie is portrayed as a flop one. BGM is god level. As movie lovers we need manisharma and Mahesh combo again.

@Vithincine - Firstly I appreciate you making this video. I have been waiting for this ever since I saw your "this movie is from the future" series. Coming to Khaleja, I still vividly remember the series of emotions I went through in 2010 around this movie. "Khaleja" ane peru chudagane, and trailers chusi, I expected an entirely different purely mass commercial movie. Being a fan of Trivikram, I went to the theater regardless. Cinema chusi theater lonchi bayataki vasthunnappudu I felt I should rewatch this movie multiple times. There was so much density of content and beautiful concepts. Till date, I saw this many times. Everytime I see, I feel that this movie is a travesty - chevitodi mundu sankham oodinattu. Oka adbhutamaina cinema ki daaniki ravalsina peru raaledani anipisthundi. I feel the #1 reason for it is the name of the movie and the marketing around it. Mahesh mass image ki taggattu undataniko, aa generation sensibilities vallano, aa peru petti undavacchu. People went to the theater expecting something else. I strongly feel that a different name that showcased the core philosophy of the movie and a different marketing campaign would have attracted the right audience to the movie. Anyway, I love your videos. You have a unique perspective which you present well. Keep it up.

Mahesh Babu has experimented with some really different, exceptional stories in TFI. Unfortunate that audience is not mature enough to appreciate great cinema and great stories. That is the fundamental problem why we keep getting routine formula based movies within 1 or 2 genres (Mindless action, love stories, etc.). Khaleja was an exceptional movie and you described it very well. One thing I would add to what you outlined in your video is the elevations. Just with words. Dialogues/prophecies rayadam easy, kaani vaatini convincing ga choopinchadam is very difficult. In this movie, hero description is foreshadowing for how he is portrayed later to the audience and that is pure elevation and goosebumps. Rao Ramesh;s prophecies and dialogues are peak writing and they deserve nothing less than the best possible recognition (not just an oscar).

I saw it in the theatre I was a mahesh babu fan then. It deserved to be flop because of so many reasons. It came after 3 years gap but doesn’t live up to the hype. Nuvvu ott lo chusi songs ni ff chesi chuste bane anipisthadi, kani too much hype tho chustunappudu ocche baseless scenes will give you a lot of disappointment. The movie starts with a great premise and then doesn’t move until the interval and then only moves only at the climax. Also the devudu scenes where everything happens just when he thinks about them is silly. Basically plot vaipu kakunda eteto pothadi. But it’s not that bad also, I would say it deserves what it got. Audience is always right, it isn’t a futuristic film or anything. I saw it thrice then though specially for the bgm.
