I remember my Dad's gift during my early college days. it has been around 8 yrs with me drivin my 1964 toyota corona 1960s. biglang yr 2004 pag uwi ko from subic galing trabaho. pinachopchop for junkshop ng Mom ko dahil kineep ko sa garahe for aroung 3 yrs... WOOOOOOOOoowhhhh i But things happen for no reason nga naku naalala ko tuluy. my God sana nasa daan pa siya kasama kupa. I feel you Sir.. oldies vintage car makes us feel so Good. Congrats Sir Khaili. You r so lucky . Ala lang di ko mawsan malala ko old car ko. anyways that s life but I know someday I can still own such.. kahit di kami mayaman one day I will. kundi man at least naranasan kuna yun nalang siguru.. And I may mention that in the movie Bullitt 1968, 2 Ford mustang GT 390s were used to gather with 2 Dodge charger RT were used in the car chase.. see it here on youtube. The movie French connection featured cars which are vintage now.

Mganda yung restored kse na preserve mo yung original specs and features ng isang vintage car pero now a days big factor na yung fuel effeciency... Imagine having a vintage car with modern engine na pareho o higit na malakas pero hindi malakas sa gas... Vintage cars with old technology prefers high octane, high lead contents, Im very sorry to say that with stricter rules of the clean air act we have no choice but to pump E85 with ethanol and lead free fuel in to our modern car , using ethanol base fuel will harm our vintage carbs with corrosion. It also harm the fuel pump and the valve seals if we seat the car in the garage for a long time dahil napapanis yung gasoline. Payo lang dont settle gasoline with 85 to 97 octane, go for at least 100 octane, so you can enjoy your timeless vintage mustang with problem free fuel system.
