I think Chimaev is overrated but i could see him running through Whittaker in the first with a submission. DDP outmuscled Rob and i feel Whittaker can get overwhelmed and succumbs to pressure, he needs space and is a slow starter. Im going Chimaev with round 1 submission

Rob was a 170lb and lost at 170 before moving up to 185.. Rob is not a big MW and will easily be smaller then Khamzat. Def not going to be easy, but mma math doesn't work usually.

Chimaev is strong for sure. The burns fight showed some of his weaknesses tho 1. cardio/pacing in the later rounds he was way worse than in the earlier rounds because he is just not used to the longer fights where he is overpowering is opponents and finishes them 2. he fought too cocky and reckless trying to get a knockout against burns and threw all caution to the winds eating haymakers that nearly finished him in the process 3. his ground game is good, but not on the level of khabib/islam who have no problem going to the ground with top bjj guys like oliveira. Khamzat did not try to take burns down after burns tried one armbar and he said it himself he was not going to risk that. Have a look how Islam handled the submission attempts from Olivier’s and his mindset that he is stronger in the ground. Also his pacing in the usman fight was the very same again trying everything he can in the first round to get usman out and then later declining with lots of people saying usman found is grove and was getting the upperhand. (Granted khamzat broke his hand so sure it is expected to decline after that) but my main point is his pacing early is too much h to really fight 5 rounds which he is just not used to. I am interested and don’t know who I think this is going to. But I think I lean towards khamzat because he can grapple and wrestle Whitaker which he did not want to do against burns.
