Most people don't even get why he did kind of badly in the Burns fight. He WANTED a show fight, a WAR! He had 4-5 fights in the UFC at that point and ALL of them end in round 1 almost IMMEDIATELY. He felt that Burns was a good "dance" partner, and he felt that if there was ever a time to have a war to FEEL what that is like and test himself in a war before a championship fight, THIS was the fight. That said of course he wanted to KO burns. But people don't understand that Khamzat did bad against Burns for purely mental mindset reasons 😐 His mentality with the fight was bad. He knows this now and that you can't "play" with guys at this level because they will go to take your head off. He then MAULED Holland right after, showing he's had enough of playing around.

You will be disappointed with the result. Usman is fading out of relevancy whether he believes it or not. Definitely a smart move for Usman to take this fight and get a big payday as it might be one of the last opportunities he has to do so, unless the UFC gives him another match with Colby for the Welterweight title if Covington takes out Edwards.
