Fans forget that UFC / MMA is individual sport, not team sport. Anything can happen in MMA, before, during, after fighting. Some fighters can fight 3 or 4 times a year if nothing happens, no injuries, etc. Alex Peira is great examples. Some fighters not so "lucky", one fight per year or maybe less because many reasons, injuries, no opponents willing to fight..
