As a Muslim a white British Muslim I’m really proud of my brother Hamza for the good way he carries himself. After all he is representing us Muslims. I’m also proud of Darren because he represents the good of British people in the way he carries himself! He doesn’t trash talk and is not surrounded by stories of bad character and back stabbing, he’s the sort of guy you make friends for life with! Hamza being a Chechen Muslim is naturally wary of others but the way he has opened up to Darren is quite amazing and says a lot about both of them. This is a real friendship based on shared mutual respect for each other and heart felt emotional connection. It’s also driven by a shared warrior spirit of never accepting defeat and always giving 100%. Allah says in the Quran that he has made us of different races and tribes so that we might come to know each other i.e., so that is so that we come to recognise, appreciate and therefore incline to friendship with each other. The relationship between these two is a good example of this. These two will be friends for life inshallah.

Khamzats striking is definitely better than Khabib, and his grappling seems to be on the same level if not better. Only time and competition will tell for sure but so far Khamzat seems like the real deal. The ONLY thing I can say Khabib might’ve had in his favor was that he was all work and no play, not that Khamzat doesn’t train hard but there is a difference between them.
