o.m.g. i am so glad i found this site on KZbin. my son is really struggling and unfortunately i struggle with math and fractions is where my math skilled stopped at many years ago. i felt so helpless to help my son and i even got him into a so-called tutoring class at school but it's not focusing on his weaknesses but a general computer generated program that just has a beginning start, not what he needs help on right now in order to do his class and homework. i am so grateful this is easy enough for even me to follow and now i can help my baby. thank you so much.

yes you can have dis-functional parents,yes you can have unruly children but when you have a teacher that only teaches one way and if you don't get it first time you are looked at as an idiot and embarrassed in front of your peers at an age where others options of you really matter it can lead to you retreating inside. Never asking questions,pretending to know the answers and dreading going to school each day. These kind of teachers were prevalent when I was at school. "It was good enough for me,its good enough for you !" was their mantra. I really hope that these abusers, yes they are abusers because they abuse ones spirit to excel, are not as common place today. As for this video...I now understand fractions a lot more than I did, but it did make my brain quiver :)
@Crysis4829 жыл бұрын
+slicedpage As a child in elementary school, I was regularly made a fool of because of teachers. I had many verbally abusive, degrading teachers, as well as one physically abusive one. They only taught one way, and never attempted to adapt at ALL to any students. Their mistakes are the reason why I've failed so many classes (math especially), as I became a very reclusive student, too afraid to ask questions. And I'm a Junior in high school now, so that was not too long ago.
@slicedpage9 жыл бұрын
+Crysis482 as life isn't hard enough, people like these add to life's stresses. Now having left school a long time ago I look back regret these a- holes getting to me. imposing their weeknesses onto me. But i have to remind myself i was young what could i have done. Now i look back and realise they too had their demons but lacked the emotional intelligence to control them. To break the circle . I remember my last day at school. I piled all my school books up and set fire to them. A form of clensing perhaps. Adult life began that day. learning too that no one is better than me and i am not better than anyone. I read somewhere that we are all damn fools for ten minutes each day....wisdom is not exceeding it. llap
@slicedpage9 жыл бұрын
Raye Landry well done . You are aware of the obstacles in your way and have found the courage to remove them. As time goes by your confidence will grow and those critical of your actions will fall by the wayside. Beware of family or close friends that may prefer the old you and feel threatened by the new one.That is where monsters live and where the hardest battles are fought .LLAP and don't look back.
