Is there a difference between selling an option and writing it? Are those terms equivalent? In other words, if I buy a call option (from A) with an expiration date in Dec 2019, but turn around and sell this call option (to B) in June 2019, as far as B is concerned, who is the writer of the option - A or me? If it is me, the implication is that if B chooses to exercise this option at strike price, I still need to buy the stock from the market and sell it to B, so before I end up doing something like this, I wanna understand what it means.

Call option contract wouldn't has less value if you wait until expiring? ie you bough twtr calll at 82 (strike) but the next day reach 82.60 but it shows you still losing money but decide to wait because you have 2 more days to expire, is it better to sell at the lowest loss profit that same day or wait until expiration day/ until it gains more value and then sell?

Hi Khan, Thank you for your great video tutorial. Do you know why the price of an option contract that expire in a week rise much more than an option that expire in a month? I.E. MSFT rise from $50 to $55. If you own MSFT option contract as below Your MSFT option contract Strike price $50 expire in a week earn $4 But your MSFT option contract Strike price $50 expire in a month earn only 40 cents
