Finance and capital markets on Khan Academy: Life is full of people who will try to convince you that something is a good or bad idea by spouting technical jargon. Most of them have no idea what they are talking about. Don't be one of those people or their victims when it comes to stocks. From P/E rations to EV/EBITDA, we've got your back!
About Khan Academy: Khan Academy offers practice exercises, instructional videos, and a personalized learning dashboard that empower learners to study at their own pace in and outside of the classroom. We tackle math, science, computer programming, history, art history, economics, and more. Our math missions guide learners from kindergarten to calculus using state-of-the-art, adaptive technology that identifies strengths and learning gaps. We've also partnered with institutions like NASA, The Museum of Modern Art, The California Academy of Sciences, and MIT to offer specialized content.

I can’t believe all this valuable information is free right on KZbin and most people just want to waste time watching dumb Tiktok videos. This stuff is gold! Thank you always for the amazing content.

This was a way more comprehensive explanation. The baby crying in the end was funny. I still need time to understand calculating EPS. It's not clicking yet for me. Lol

Just heard you on NPR, which led me here. Only watched two videos so far, but they're informative and easy to understand. Great teaching style. The drawing board is great, but is it possible for you to use a real income statement/balance sheet/cash flow to apply your teachings? Maybe incorporate it in the end to summarize the lesson using a real example? Keep up the great work and I'm confident you'll be able to "sustain" your business towards the year end.

So does adding the 350,000 to the "asset" of the company to make it 10.350 million (and the equity increase of 5mil+350,000 for the year) ALSO mean that the debt the company owed at 5million also gets subtracted from the interest paid that year? So now the companies debt is 5mil minus 500,000?)

to whoever that values criticism. this is not good, you always go off track on a tangent, its like being on a windy road on a mountain, instead of a straightforward road, please stay on track and get to the point, you also do not need to draw out every scenario, assume a bit of competence from you viewers, and your videos need editing, I need to feel some sort of flow, thanks for taking the time and providing us with free education, with the highest regard. -Parsa Azadi

10% of $1 million is 100k not 500k. So your pre tax is 900k.
