To the moms worrying, I'm a placenta previa baby, the placenta never moved upwards, my mom was fine after the delivery (prior sucked because she was ordered to stay in bed for a few months) she had a C-section and even if I was premature I didn't need any special care thanks to the staff's anticipation. The only thing to this day is that I still have horrible orientation ;) Good pregnancies to you!

Your video content is so thorough, concise, and extremely helpful as I am a doula-in-training desiring to learn as much about what the female body goes through during and after pregnancy. It helps tremendously to know the complexities of these conditions before finding myself or my client in the circumstances; your videos are great for preparatory work to be ahead of the scenario before it blindly takes us by storm. I most appreciate that your videos will help me to educate my clients on best plans of actions should these conditions arise. Thank you so much for this detailed visual aid!

I was diagnosed with COMPLETE PLACENTA PREVIA back in 1987 and I was at 16 weeks. Not much was done then except to be ordered complete bed rest until the bleeding stopped. The placenta never shifted until delivery. I almost died and what happened then remains God's own mystery because as I listen to and watch this video I am forced to believe that even the doctor who delivered my baby DID NOT UNDERSTAND WHAT WAS HAPPENING AND SURELY DID NOT EVEN KNOW HOW TO DEAL WITH THE SITUATION. I am still so very thankful to GOD because the Doctor's expertise ran short! I cannot thank you enough for this video. You have answered the questions I never had answers to since that fateful Monday in January '88 when my baby was born. You are blessing many more lives with this video. Again, be blessed.

My daughter was born at 32 weeks - I bled early on around 13 weeks throughout the pregnancy. That was in 2008. I was curious because there was little things to learn about it back then.

It can be complete placenta previa, at first pregnancy (30y) without symptoms? No vaginal bleeding, no pain. Never uterine surgeries or quiretaige. If yes, is there any possibility to give birth by vaginal delivery? How may be proceed?

Why delivery at 34 weeks? its too early why not wait little longer for the lungs to mature?
@diactor25
@diactor25 8 жыл бұрын
The lungs are mature enough by that time and additional steroids are given prior to elective section in order to give some extra boost in terms of surfactant production.

a little note to address is that placental previa mostly happens after the 28th week of pregnancy because the inferior portion of uterus only forms at the 28th week of pregnancy

why does the bleeding occur without pain?
@traxietanzil4064
@traxietanzil4064 8 жыл бұрын
The area around cervix doesn't have nerve receptor to pain
@diactor25
@diactor25 8 жыл бұрын
If that was true then the 1st stage of labour, i.e. the dilatation of the cervix, wouldn't be painful. The cervix is highly innervated and very sensitive to noxious stimuli of all modalities.

It does occur with pain with placental abruption. It states that. And believe me it hurts, I had one. Ever been in a car accident? That's how I felt when I woke up from general sedation.
