Hi, my son is blood transfuse dependent, we don't have choice because we can't afford bone marrow transplant... He need blood transfusion every month or two... He gets tired easily he feels pain in the stomach in his legs sometimes hard to breathe that's the time again that he need another blood transfusion..

What if your leukemia was caused by too muxh radiation for a start? Should you avoid the treatment? Think it's already in the brain because of vision problems and frozen and painful face on sides for a few months as well as breaks in spine and ribs for no reason. What is the survival rate? Both red and white platelets keep falling. At what point are they considered too low?

If you could in the future, also discuss the other newer immuno and enzyme inhibitor treatments that have recently been FDA approved. Chemo treatments are a kind of shot gun approach and slowly falling out of favor from what I have read.

Consolidation is given in 4 cycles. Each cycle has 15 days gap. So almost 2 months.

i was just at MDA and if i understood right, they claim chemotherapy was not being used anymore and this is jan. 2022. they said to treat CLL, they would use new breakthroughs in fighting this cancer with 3 pills. these pills would be given in certain intervals of time upon monitoring the patients condition. then i heard on a documentary that israel had a cure for cancer with great results.

If someone's leukemia was caused by exposure to high radiation and chemotherapy, after having breast cancer for example, how would treating the leukemia with more chemo be helpful in any way? Wouldnt they get more sick and deteriorate faster?

I have a question about the bone marrow transplant. Could the bone marrow come from the patient themselves if they cannot find a match? Or can they use a parent in order to get a partial match?

If you have leukemia, your bone marrow is fucked. Period. Any transplant from yourself is like mixing poison with poison, no effect. Partial match doesn't work either... Blame your immune system for that.
