@firmlygraspi1 That's how it is with all music/art. Either you like it or you don't. Personally, I love these guys because they send shivers up my spine. I rarely hear things that allow me to become completely immersed and cause me to have that kind of visceral reaction. Feeling the music as opposed to just hearing it. I also listen to doom, sludge, death and black metal, hardcore, and some drone here and there. Sure, some of Khanate's shit can be tough to listen to, but, for me, the reward is

@1994hondacivicsi when i eat mushrooms, i listen to tool, shpongle or mars volta... khanate would just totally kill the vibe... i listen to heavy music when i'm stoned (EHG, grief, melvins, electric wiz, bongzilla, etc)

I'm not going to say anything positive or negative about this song, band, or genre. I don't understand it. So far, nobody's been able to put into words WHY they like this kind of music. Is it just an acquired taste? Because I LOVE black metal, thrash, industrial, prog, alt, and even a little metalcore. But I don't understand the appeal of this.
