My surname Khanna belongs to Raja Shri Chand Khanna and Raja Deepankar Khanna (BARI) Khatri ( Kshatriya) who ruled Deepalpur estate nearly 2000 years ago in today's Okara district of Punjab now Pakistan our kulguru Babe Lalu Jasrai Ji mandir is still situated in Deepalpur fort complex but no Puja had been performed after Hindu Sikhs were looted Killed uprooted from our motherland of thousands of years Punjab now Pakistan . There is still a famous road RATTA KHANNA Road in Deepalpur city named after Raja Rattan Chand Khanna ( Bari) Khatri ( Kshatriya) as we Khanna use BARI as a mark of respect as rulers of Deepalpur as Deepalpur city is on the DUAB of 2 Rivers Bea's and Ravi BA from Bea's and RI from Ravi becomes BARI . In Punjabi language Gurmuki script we don't have alphabet Ksh that's the reason we call Kshatriya as Khatri . Some prominent names with Khanna surname in history are Samraat Harshwardhan Khanna Khatri ( Kshatriya) who conquered the whole of Indian subcontinent except some parts of South India he even conquered some parts of Central Asia Iran and even went to conquer Arabia but came back after seeing 🔥 hot hard deserts 🏜 with not a inch of green in the 7th century he was a great educationalist and constructed multiple educational institutions like Nalanda university in today's Bihar state famous Chinese traveler Hung Sang came to India and stayed for 8 years as chief guest of Samart Harshwardhan Khanna as per Hung Sang own writings he had also visited Deepalpur city and prominent person in history was Raja Toddarmal Khanna BARI Khatri ( Kshatriya) he was the Prime Minister and Finance minister in Akbar Court and before that he was the Finance Minister of Sher Shah Suri . But when Akbar migrated his capital from Lahore to Fatehpur Shekri his family 👪 migrated to Fatehpur Shekri . In 1587 Raja Toddarmal Khanna reconstructed Kashi Vishwanath Mandir in Varanasi . He gave the best revenue and land laws which the world is still using till date known as Toddarmal Land and revenue laws . (1) Writing of land deeds by the state and recorded in the state land & revenue records . (2) Demarcation of land by the state and recorded in the state Tehsil land records (3) Minimum support price of food grains and essential commodities by the state .
