How many times your country was in conflict? I guess that doesn’t count. I still remember brutal bombing, and yes it was delivered by your country. I was just a child back then. You are right I wish we can all live if not in love at least in peace. I hope for the best for everyone in every corner of our beautiful blue planet.

I live near San Francisco, but I'd rather live there. This city looks so clean and peaceful. People are nice and respectful. I don't remember when I was in SF last. SF downtown streets are smelly and you have to go out of your way to avoid homeless people. Cars with broken windows are easy to spot. Mayor/politicians are like gangsters. Basically if you've never lived in sf you don't want to live here. ps if you haven't convinced yet, a one bedroom apartment's rent is around $3,000 to $4,000.

I very much appreciate this vlog. You really do a great job explaining and showcasing Russian regional cities, such as this one, the foreign tourists might never see. I was intrigued by the Tent of the indigenous people -- so much like the tents of the "Plains Indians" of America. There are so many other similarities as well in the wildlife depicted in bronze. I thought initially it would be about an "oil center" like Houston, Texas. So, it was a pleasant surprise to see the vlog unfold. I can see why you might not like it it as much as Surgut -- it lacks the busy multicultural restaurants and entertainment of larger cities because its purpose is to be an administrative center for the region. Must say I wish that Faberge Fountain was workin at the time of your vlog. Like all things Faberge, it looks elegant and beautiful. I am so glad to see your pretty face and hear you on this vlog!

Привет Светлана. Russia is a beautiful country and everyone can find something interesting for themselves. My countrymen had the opportunities to "visit" Russia over time in "various circumstances". I would also like to visit, because undoubtedly this country has a lot to offer to tourists. Unfortunately, there will be no more opportunities for this. I am a Pole and theoretically (so far), our countries have been hostile to each other for some time now. Generations will pass before this changes again. Thank you for being a "tourist guide" of Russia on your channel. Best regards - Imro.

I knew Khanty Mansiysk well from Biathlon (TV). As you have mentioned, used to be a famous place for Event there. Usually. Well, we all know the current situation and so on. Its a pitty in my opinion and I prawda hope there will be better times again. Ok, enough for that.. resume to KM; I agree with you in some topics. Worth to visit, to live there, ahh well... no. But ya, mammoth are impressive cool. Didnt knew they have them exhibited there. Ancient stories, Museums, Monuments always interesting, I think! I take this chance also to tell ya, that you are doing great vlogs. I just recently discovered your channel coincidently, and confess that I (almost) have watch them all by now. 70%😉i guess. The rest I sure will do the next few days/ weeks. Well done! Its really fun to watch you and learn about this phenomenal locations. I always been a fan of land and history of your country. Long before feb 22. I watched some vlogs/ docu about other beauti cities either. So, maybe we see from you also to introduce Ufa, Baikal area n lake, jaroslavl, Ekatarinenburg etc etc. So many places to tell about. I only know by watching TV but my ultimate favorite cities are ST. P. and Moscow. Amazing. One day I hope to will be there. Omg, I texted so much, izvini😚. Wish you all the best and keep going this phantastic channel. Happy NY 2023😘

I was born in this city, and i’m so happy that you like it. I visited many cities in Russia, including large ones - Moscow, St. Petersburg, Yekaterinburg, Novosibirsk, Surgut, Tyumen, Kamchatka (this is the easternmost place in Russia), but Khanty-Mansiysk is my favorite city, i think my city is the best in Russia. Unfortunately, the video was filmed in winter, in summer my city is much more beautiful and cozy. Our city is very green, the nature here is wonderful. If you look at the map of the city, you will see it’s divided into two parts by a natural park. Forest in the city center! Many young people live here (i'm 23 years old), many people play sports. This is a city for those who are tired of the hustle and bustle (i lived in Saint-Petersburg for three years and came back), but there is everything you need for life. I would really like to show each of you my city and introduce you to real Russia. Unfortunately, the terrible war with Ukraine shows my country to the whole world from the worst side. Actually, many Russians believe in our government, but there are many people in my country who know the truth. And it’s very hard for us to live with it… I just want to say, people are different everywhere, in my country there are still good and smart people. I invite you to Khanty-Mansiysk when the world calms down. P.S. My English is still bad, but I hope you understand me 😂 Peace to all of you 🤍

Khanty-Mansiysk looks like a nice mid-size city. I would visit if I was in that province (oblast). More prosperous than most Russian/Siberian areas. The chum tent looks very much like an American Indian tepee. The countryside reminds me of Quebec and Ontario when I visited grandparents when I was a kid. Sounds like your general dislike of Khanty-Mansiysk comes from some old bad experiences there. It is not a place that can hold someone's interest for too long because of the limited things to do in a smaller city. I should be thankful to live in a city (Los Angeles) that has a lot to do and nice weather to do it in. Yet at the same time there is a lot of craziness in LA! Thanks Svetlana, for showing us a place that is so far away.
@minutka_mimimi2 жыл бұрын
