I used to think that “Blessed are those that mourn for God is with them” was a silly cliche until I lost my mother at age 16. I thought “how can God be close to me if He allowed my mom to leave me so soon” until I experienced God’s perfection in my weakness. Indeed He is closer to those that are broken hearted and you are proof of that 🤍🫂 I’m so sorry for your loss Khanyi. I also attended the Beloved awakened and Sisters of Africa conference and I’ve made a decision to live fully for Christ and have a true relationship with God and not be luke warm or come to Him when I need something. As a person who lost a parent over 14 years ago i can say it does get easier when you accept that they have passed on. Easier meaning you adjust. Therapy and God helped me. Remembering all the good times and embracing who your parent was makes the journey better.

I can relate to everything you said. I have also known God for most of my life and I believe that most Christians who have, tend to be more lukewarm then christians who lived for the world and later met Christ in their journey of life, I also believe that this is because most of the former group of Christians did not choose God for themselves, but were born in an environment or family of believers and that is how they were exposed to God (which there is absolutely nothing wrong with that). This video changed my life because in as much as my mom is still alive I do not want it to take losing her for me to fully choose God. I am leaving this comment here because I have decided to re-dedicate my life to Him and say no to being a lukewarm Christian

God knew that was the perfect time to listen to the song because I was at the verge on giving up in life. I've experienced that his a loving God who never leaves nor forsakes us. Just this afternoon I was on a video call with my sister and my daughter talking about our older sister who passed on in March, Im still struggling a lot, maybe because I’m not at home and alone far from my family whom I see them twice a year😭😭This was a person who take care of us since we lost our mom in 2020(whom I couldn’t go home to attend her burial since it was locked down between the 2 countries). I was devastated then March I lost someone who was so dearly and caring to her siblings and our kids!😭She just accompanied to airport on that day and in 2days time she was gone(I had to go back home on emergency leave for her burial)…I know the pain you are going through..❤️‍🩹Take your time to heal🙏🏾
