Well, I think that room was “MASSIVE” Ellie 😂😂😂😂 The elephants 🐘 are stunning 🤩 I loved watching you feed them and loved watching that one showering himself down 😊 They are ultimately very intelligent beautiful creatures ❤ And it’s great to see how they are so looked after and cared for at the retreat ❤❤❤❤❤

It was bloomin massive 🤣 awww the elephants were amazing so sad they cannot return the wild where they should be but grateful to elephant hills for caring for them letting them live out their best lives 🥹🥰

Absolutely adored this video, fabulous job guys and wow, that scenery was incredible. Could tell it was a big bucket list moment for you both, I was welling up with you Ellie….love those, wow am I really here….moments. 🥰 Top tip for tented safaris if you are like me and hate the bugs, individual pop up mosquito net, I won’t safari without it! 😂🙈 When you do Cambodia, you must do Kulen Elephant Forest, similar experience to yours, but you get to hike through the forest with the elephants and watch them in their natural environment as well, was amazing. ❤️ Again. Fab video, think it might be my new favourite! 🤗

Ohh nice Thailand is stunning isn’t it and we loved how cheap it was out there and how friendly the locals were etc. deffo must for elephant hills it’s one of the top experiences we’ve ever done and it comes very highly recommended 👌🏼. This is the Thailand I'd love. What a lovely contrast, from being somewhere where the elephants are tied up in the street to being loved and cared for and treated like royalty. I noticed some of the handlers were sitting whilst not with their elephants, do you know if there is a reason for this or were they just chilling out 😅 I'd be the same about spider's, you were super brave x
@JamesandElliesAdventures8 ай бұрын
Yes this is the Thailand we couldn’t wait to experience it was absolutely fantastic 🥹 it was sad to hear the stories around these elephants and why they were now being cared for by Elephant Hills but they really are loving an amazing life since they cannot return to the wild. I’m not actually sure to be honest it kind of looked like a respect thing but i could be totally wrong and they were just chilling 😆 Wait until next weeks one where we actually see some of the spiders 😳

Hey 👋🏻 thanks for watching and I’m glad it’s helped for your upcoming trip you’ll have the best time ever! Try not to think about the creepy crawlies you’ll only see them on the jungle trek in the cave which wasn’t that bad seeing huntsman spiders the size of a dinner plate 😅 we hate spiders but felt absolutely comfortable. We recommend you check out part 2 of this trip also. 💙

Hi guys loving your vids we’re going to elephant hills Jan 2025, just wondering did you take Thailand money with you or do you just pay for everything by card. Love all the hints and tips, we’re so looking forward to it just a bit worried about what to use as cash, thank you 😊

Hi guys, greetings from the North. Do you mind breaking down your itinerary? We're in early stages of planning and a bit overwhelmed! Elephant Hills looks AMAZING! (But on initial research coming up around £1600 for 2 nights for 2 of us, does that sound about right?)
@JamesandElliesAdventures7 ай бұрын
Hiya, of course not. So we stayed in Phuket for 6 nights then went to elephant hills for 2 nights and then stayed in Khao Lak for 4 nights and we paid around £2,200 per person for the whole trip including flights so £1600 sounds a bit steep to me. We book through our agents Martin Travel at not just travel. It may be worth contacting them to see what they can do :) (mention our names ☺️) you can find a link to them in our description of the video too. I do know that elephant hills books up quite quickly.

Wow this looked just so wonderful and the place is stunning! 😍 Getting to feed the elephants is so lovely, it’s so ace they all have their own personalities, we visited a sanctuary in Thailand when we visited years ago! I’d totally be Ellie with the possibility of spiders, I’d be scanning the room so much 😓😂 we’d also both not sleep well at all with all the jungle noise lol 😂 Definitely can’t wait to see the next day! 🤩
@JamesandElliesAdventures7 ай бұрын
Ahh guys it was just one of the most unreal amazing experiences something we have wanted to do for such a long time and so very grateful we got to finally do it 🥹 the spiders are on another level, you’ll see them in the next video! What you didn’t see was I sprayed every inch of that room and shoved the towels and flannels in any holes in the tent that could fit a spider 🤣🤣 we loved the sound of the jungle but we sleep with a noise machine every night 🤣 our friends didn’t sleep great tho 😳😆
@emmabroadhurst91377 ай бұрын
Unfortunately elephant hills is not a true ethical sanctuary, there is far too much interaction and an electrical fence 😱 PES is amazing, far less interaction, elephants allowed to roam completely freely. You can do all the trips cheaper in khao sok then. ☹️
@JamesandElliesAdventures7 ай бұрын
Hey 👋🏻 thanks for your comment were is this PES place isit more north in Chang Mai? We’ll have to look into that one and do some research as we’d love to see them tk their true habitat as possible next time. Thanks for watching 🙏🏼 💙
@emmabroadhurst91377 ай бұрын
@@JamesandElliesAdventures it’s in Phuket! It’s res used elephants, not many, you get to observe. It’s better (and cheaper) than elephant hills but khao sok is beautiful. Loved your khao lak video 😃
