No, I am sorry to say, woman is not respected in Islamic religion. you need to restudy Islam and reread Quran. It is a dogma that is prevailing in your mind that Islam give respect to the women. Marry 4 women beside your present wife, doesn't give any kind of moral respect to the woman. The proof you can see in Pakistan that no any Muslim wife is willing to share her husband with another woman. if he do so, he has to give divorce to his first wife, because their wives don't want to live with the man who is already cheater. In Arab countries, why women allow their husbands to marry other women, because cultural and wealth issues. your next point, whether jannah lies under the feet of mother or not, is not proven because there is nowhere in the Koran you can find such statement. it is grabbed from ahadiths, and we all know many ahadiths are weak as well. on the last part I agree with you, that respect women's dignity, but this respect of the dignity of women happens all around the world, not only in Islamic faith.

The interview in question is a right example of the meanness and immorality of people of respect and so called ‘khandani’ people. How can they even discuss openly these personal issues on the mainstream media to the anchors who is also known to be a very popular anchor. I condemn to both the interviewer and the interviewee in the strongest term. Apni izzat khud khaak mein mila di is bunday nay interview day ker. Aik aurat ki izzat say berh ker koi cheez nhi hoti lekin ye baat bahut kum log samjhtay.
