Similar to the Terra and Ventus strategies. Aqua's round-block barrier makes it a bit easier to guard (especially with clones and the laser attacks). Her ability to barrier in mid-air can be handy also. I was a bit braver and attack more but not as much as the reference.

Awesome finish. Some of these boss battles are unnecessarily annoying. Its like the game creators want you to spend most of the time dodging and hitting every now and then.

The earliest time you can meld i think is around radiant garden, although you can lvl command faster through command board (it's quite annoying though). Also, you need to have two block in reserve otherwise the game just won't let you meld it.

@Luisinthehouse It's actually his recovery attack where he stops you in time and resets himsel back to normal and then hits you with whatever attack he feels like doing. I hated it so much when I fought him.

@Firemasterlucky5 My differences were that I had Teleport spike as a finisher, photon charge as a shot-lock (kept that in this strategy also regardless of the reference), damage syphon ability, cures, air slide, homing slide, teleport, double flight, payback surge, and level 81.

I'm kind of having an issue with this fight honestly. I'm playing the PS3 KH2.5 version, and despite my best mashing Aqua is taking twice as long as in any videos I've seen to put up her barrier. If I can't get the shield up faster then I lose so many opportunities to do damage, but I don't know how to deal with it since MF cuts his combo short if I'm too far.

@battousaicrescent make sure you buy a barrier from shop first before you meld. for some reason you need a basic barrier alone because the game is programmed like that.

It has been revealed in KH3D that the Mysterious Figure is actually Young Xehanort, who has the ability to manipulate time and space. Basically, he is Xehanort from another reality, who was recruited by Master Xehanort.

I kept it like my originals which I set up before the video was uploaded. I added damage syphon but added some action commands since I had her leveled up so high and to be a bit of a dare devil. I usually attack after avoiding the X-attack or if he was staggering from something like counter blast. I depended more on shotlocks though.

I thought Julius was pretty simple, myself. Yeah, he hit like a goddamn freight train, but most of his attacks were either easy to dodge or easy to block and he was susceptible to a variety of attacks. The only problem I ever encountered was him knocking some of my commands out of commission. That sucked.

MrMcKraut He can rewind time to counter any attack if it doesn’t give you i-frames (So basically standard attacks, and most deck commands except for Surges)
