@dnnb99 its not as easy as u think.. although he had the power, he still need ppl who follow him.. if his followers didn't agree what want to do he is dead meat.. just like Gen Saw Mg and at his peak time, he wasn't in control of all the country's matters..there are hardliners like Gen Than Shwe and Mg Aye who would oppose democracy at that time. And now we seems to get democracy bcos Than Shwe is afraid more to his military than the democracy.. So he choose democracy as an exit plan.

Angulimala was the son of the Kings Chaplain of the Savatthi City, and a student of the Taxila University. The teacher and his wife were very fond of him, as he was a brilliant, clever and faithful pupil. By this truth may health be to thee and thy unborn child".

When he had collected 999 FINGERS, and was ready to complete the number he chased his own mother who came out to ask him to desist from killing. The Buddha saw this in advance and appeared on the scene to prevent him from killing his mother. He chased the Buddha to kill Him, but could not overtake Him on account of His supernatural power. He was eventually CONVERTED to the noble Doctrine of the Buddha and was admitted into the Order.

We hate U Khin Nyunt. Since 1988, he made mistakes 55% and he made good things 45%. Now we DON'T hate General Khin Nyunt (U Khin Nyunt) anymore because he REPENT his mistakes. Although we disappointed on U Khin Nyunt's mistakes, we must forgive him as we are Buddhists and we obey BUDDHA's teachings. LOVE is patient. Love is FORGIVENESS. Nevertheless, we all Myanmar should welcome U Khin Nyunt as democracy politician. By the way, U Khin Nyunt is like ANGULIMALA. Let me explain Angulimala.
