This is so creepy, there are almost no civilians to be seen - even in other communist states: like the Soviet Union, the Eastern Bloc countries, North Korea and communist Mongolia. There had always been larges crowds of civilians present in the gigantic military parade holidays of those countries. But not in Cambodia, under the Khmer Rouge

Oh wow, I actually found another person who understands that the Eastern Zone was much different than Pol Pot's Zone. Anyways from what I've found Green and Black uniforms were common for Pro-Pol Pot sections of the army. Greyish Fatigues were more common in the Eastern Zone.

He was never 'captive' ever...the KR went back to the jungle , where he was eventually found and interviewed in 97/98 but died right there soon after surrounded by his soldiers in the jungle.
